Feed in 1,000H2 (sine wave) signal from Audio Generator, and gradually raise the input level until output waveform appears clipped on Oscilloscope connected to Tape Out.

7、s B. Main Amp DC Balance Adjustment Before starting this adjustment, c0librate the oscil- loscope as follows: set the vertical gain control at 0.1 volt/cm. Set AC-GND-DC switch to GND to deter- mine zero point on the screen. Then set the switch to DC position. 1. Short-circuit Main-ln terminals. Set

8、 UN ITE-SEPA- R ATE switch to SE PA RATE. Connect the oscilloscope to the speaker terminals, and adjust potentiometer V R701 so that the horizontal line on the oscilloscope screen, which indicates voltage, comes to 0-volt position. 2. Next, check that when Main-ln terminals are opened, or when UNITE

9、-SEPARATE switch is set to UNITE position with Main-ln terminals open, fluctuation of voltage is within 10.04 volts. 3. Make the same adjustment for the other channel following steps 1 and 2 above. 12、 Minimum A. Einstellung der Gleichstrombalance des Ph on overstd rke rs 1. SchliefJen Sie das Wechselspannungs-Voltmeter und das oszilloskop an die Bandmonitor-Ausgangsbuchse an. Schlief3en Sie den Tongenerator an die Buchse Phono- lJ an. Stellen Sie den Netzschalter auf ON (es dauert 3 bis l0 Sekun

13、den bevor das Relais schaltet). 2. Fiihren Sie ein 1000 Hz Signal (Sinus) vom Ton- generator zv, und erhohen Sie allmdhlich den Ein- gangspegel, bis die Ausgangswellenform auf dem an die Bandausgangsbuchse angeschlossenen Oszilloskop abgeschnitten erscheint. Stellen Sie in diesem Zustand das Potenti

14、ometer VRl0l (VRl02 ftir den rechten Kanal) auf der gedruckten Schaltung des Entzeners so ein, dafJ die obere und die untere Amplitude gleich- formig abgeschnitten sind. B. EINSTELLEN DER GLEICHSTROM. BALANCE DES HAUPTVERSTAR KERS Bevor Sie diese Einstellung vornehmen, kalibrieren Sie das oszillosko

15、p wie folgt: Stellen Sie den Regler fiir Vertikalverstrkung auf 0.1 Volt/cm. Stellen Sie den AC-GND-DC Schalter auf GND (Erde), um den Nullpunkt auf dem Bildschirm festzulegen. Stellen Sie dann den Schalter auf DC (Gleichspannung). 1. SchiefJen Sie die Netzetngangsanschltisse kurz. Stellen Sie den S

16、chalter (UNITE-SEPARATE) auf SEPA- RATE. SchliefJen Sie das Oszilloskop an die Laut- sprecheranschliisse 8o, und justieren Sie das Poten- tiometer VR701 so ein, dafj die Horizontallinie auf dem Oszilloskop-bildschirm, welche die Spannung arzergt, sich in der O-Volt-Position befindet. 2. Uberpri.ifen

17、 Sie als nf,chstes, dafJ bei geoffneten Netzeingangsanschli.issen oder bei auf UNITE ste- hendem Schalter (UNITE-SEPERATE) mit geoffneten Netzeingangsanschltissen die Spannungsschwankungen innerhalb von t 0.04 Volt liegen. 3. Nehmen Sie die gleichen Einstellungen gemd3 obigen Schritten I und 2 fift

19、sistors and the heat sink, with Volume Control set at minimum. 1. Connect the plus lead of DC millivoltmeter to pin 16 and the minus lead to pin 15 on the Driver PC board. 2. Adjust potentiometer VR7O2 on the Driver PC board so that DC millivoltmeter reads 70 mV. 3. Make the same adjustment for the

20、other channel following steps 1 and 2 above. CHASSIS TOP VIEW ( DRTVER PCB PORTION ) D. Overload Protection Level Adjustment Make this adjustment for left and right channels sepa- rately (feed signal only to the channel to be adjusted). o Before making adjustment, warm up the unit ade- quately to pr

21、event f luctuation of the preset level caused by temperature rise. o Do not short-circuit the output pins for more than one minute. This requires the adjustment to be made bit by bit by repeating the action of tu rn ing the potentiometer a bit and short-circuiting the pins momentarily. Note that sho

22、rt-circuiting output pins for a prolonged pe riod of time wh en the protection ci rcu it is not activated will damage power transistors, etc. 1 . Connect an 8-ohm load resistor to speaker terminals. Connect AC voltmeter in parallel with the load resistor. Set Volume Control to max imu m. Connect Aud

23、io Generator to AUX input jack and feed in 1 ,000H2 (sine wave ) signal. Adjust the input level with the attenuator of Audio Generator to obtain 0.6-volt reading on AC voltmeter. 2. Adjust potentiometer VR703 on Driver PC board so that the protection circuit is activated (i.e. Speaker relay is set t

24、o OF F ) the instant pins 17 and E 2 are sh ort-ci rcu ited . 3. Set Power Switch to OFF to release the protection circu it, then back to ON . Reduce the in put level until AC voltmeter reads 0.5 volts. Then, make certain that the protection circuit is not activated (i.e. Speaker Relay keeps ON) whe

26、(VORMAGN ETISI E RUNG) Bevor Sie diese Einstellung vornehmen, geben Sie der Einheit etwa 3 Minuten Zeit zum Aufwdrmen bei auf Minimum gestelltem Lautstdrkeregler, damit die Leistungstransistoren und das Ktihlblech sich stabi- lisieren konnen. 1. SchliefJern Sie den Plus-Leiter des Gleichspannungs- M

27、illivoltmeters an Stift 16 und den Minus-Leiter an Stift 15 auf der gedruckten Leiterplarte der Treiber- stufe an. 2. Instieren Sie das Potentiometer VR702 auf der gedruckten Leiterplatte der Treiberstufe so effi, dafJ das Gleichspannungs-Millivoltmeter 70 mV anzergt. 3. Nehmen Sie die gleichen Eins

29、Leiten Sie das Signal nur dem einzustellenden Kanal zu.) o wdrmen Sie die Einheit vor dem Einstellen entspre- chend auf, um durch Temperaturanstieg bedingte Schwankungen des voreingestellten Pegels zv verhin- dern. o Schlie8en Sie die Ausgangsstifte ftir nicht liinger als eine Minute kurz. Es ist da

30、her notwendig, die Ein- stellung abschnittsweise vorzunehmen, indem man wiederholt das Potentiometer ein wenig weiterdreht und die Stifte fiir einen Moment kurzschliefJt. Achten Sie darauf, da8 das Kurzschlie8en der Aus- gangsstifte fiir einen ldngeren Zeitraum bei nicht aktiviertem Schutzschaltkrei

This change is applicable to all units with serial numbers N 883986 or over. a) The new overload protection circuit saves adjust- ment of overload protection. Accordingly resis- tors

40、 R746, 747, 748 and VR703, and .transistor 0716 are eliminated from the Driver PC Board of the new unit. b) Because of the modification explained in 1. a), the new Driver PC Board assembly used for repair is given a new number, to distinguish it from con- ventional Driver PC Board. o Driver PC Board

41、 assembly (Part No. 14181 0328) is applicable to units with serial nos. N883986 or over. o The newly designed Overload Detection PC Board assembly: Part No. 14181 0850. c) See Figs. A and B for the new overload detection ci rcu it a n d con nection . d ) To check operation of overload protection cir

42、cuit when new Overload Detection PC Board is em- pl oyed : 1) Connect an 8S) load resistor to speaker terminals and produce 0.6-volt output (1 ,000H2, sine wave signal ) at speaker terminals. 2l Maintaining this state, short-circuit pins 17 and E2 on D,river PC board and check that the speaker relay

The following modificatio

46、n has been made for the units with Serial No. N892399 or over. Phono-3(MC) input jack design has been modified: Conventional design: the input circuit is shorted at the input terminal when the input jack is left unplugged. New design: the input circuit is open when the jack is left unplugged. The pi

47、n plug for shorting is used to short the circuit. Since new type jack is available as a repair part, be sure to use the pin plug for shorting when replacing the conventional iack with a new one.
